@thechrissyclark_: 100 Stanford University graduates walked out of the commencement address delivered by Google CEO Sundar Pichai. The protest was run by far-left groups and pro-Palestine groups who said, “we don’t need another tech billionaire to tell us how to get rich off the killing and surveillance of Palestinians and US immigrants.”  However, to coordinate all this activism and the big walk off, these groups used Google forms and Google docs.

honey, there's no ethical consumption under capitalism. a lot of the products that are alternatives to Google are paid and need subscriptions to use. if anything, this highlights the monopoly Google holds over a lot of things.

isnt this just prove how tech companies or basically capitalism are so involved in people live that they practically can't escape? Want the system or society to improve can still be done even if they themselves are involved in the system. I against a lot of corporations action but I still need to use some of the product like google (for this vid) because my school practically run on google. It likely similar case to student where school run on google so everyone have google services, best to organize is to use google services

And whats even more funny is Google is on the same side as these id¡0ts. They helped suppress information of all searches of crime around Biden, and the clintons and Obama before the 2020 election. And then had meetings about how they should have done more After Trump won in 2024.
