#trauma #burnout #stress #colere #christophegian

Blueberry babka recipe🫐🌸 Ingredients for two: 320 ml warm milk 70g sugar 8g yeast 1 egg (room temperature) 50g melted butter (NOT HOT) 450-480g flour for the filling: 300g blueberry 80g sugar 100ml water 1 ts starch In a saucepan heat blueberries with sugar and 50ml water until boiling. In a separate bowl mix 50ml water with 1 ts starch until starch is dissolved. Add the mixture to blueberries and start mixing until thickening. Let it cool to the room temperature. Start by mixing warm milk with sugar and yeast, then let it sit for about 10 minutes until it activates. Add the room-temperature egg and melted butter, whisking until smooth. Gradually add 450g sifted flour and knead the dough. It should feel soft and slightly sticky to the touch—add a little extra flour only if it’s too sticky to handle. Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours until it doubles in size. Once proofed, divide the dough in half (one half makes one babka). Roll out one portion of the dough into a rectangle, keeping it slightly thick to avoid tearing. Spread half the filling evenly across the dough. Roll it up tightly, then slice the roll lengthwise into two strips. Twist the strips together to form a braid and place it in a prepared baking dish. Allow the babka to rise for another 30 minutes. Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35-40 minutes. While still hot, brush the babka with syrup made by mixing 3 teaspoons of sugar with 1 tablespoon of hot water until dissolved. Enjoy your tender, blueberry-filled babka fresh or store it for a festive treat later! 💘 #bakingrecipe #bakingtherapy #bakingtiktok #bakingideas #dessertrecipe #EasyRecipe #blueberry #blueberrybabka #doughrecipe
