@deadinsidedad: @unitedhealthcare is one of THE WORST healthcare providers especially when it comes to customer service. They are like that old ex you had that loved to play games back and fourth until you give up. It’s insane what I pay vs what they actually cover. #uhc #united healthcare

I got a letter saying my provider will be removed from my plan and that they're now out-of-network. It'll cost me more to get care, and now I'm going to find another provider with their plan by calling them. They're removing my doctor on August 1st.

Had a anterior inferior shoulder dislocation. UHC refused to cover the meds they gave me to put it back in place. Then when my arm was still numb and unable to go above shoulder level 3 months later, they refused to cover an MRI and nerve conduction test because I hadnt had PT. Got PT ordered and UHC refused to cover it because I hadnt had an MRI 🤦🏼‍♀️. Anyway 3 yrs later my arm is still numb and I still cant raise arm over my head. Gotta love UHC 🙄 They also refuse to cover the shingles vaccine even tho I have recurring shingles cuz Im not 50 Fine. They do cover the treatment and meds for shingles at least so I guess they enjoy paying more after all lol

My kiddo needs orthotics for his feet or he may have knee and hip issues later in life that could need surgery. Insurance won’t cover the orthotics at all… so I guess we have to hope it helps with the potential surgeries… 😞

OMG I was prescribed a CGM for a brand and it wasn’t till 8 months later I found out a different brand was covered. The reason I found out is bc I casually mentioned to the PHARMACIST i couldn’t afford a 3mo supply at once, I could only afford monthly. Geez! What are we paying for???

Formularies change. Like I’ll be the last one to stand up for big insurance, bc they’re pure evil….. but the formulary does change periodically - at least every year, and more likely quarterly. I doubt it would be as frequently as monthly or weekly, but id imagine that there’s probably an exception to the rule.
