lost my dad before my first year at college started, it was tough not seeing him at his usual spot. Before he passed away, i told him that i finally got into the college i wanted to go. I could tell he was happy and that once i finally graduate, i want him to be with me on my graduation, but alas time wasnt on my side and he passed away hours later, i was numb and i didnt get to cry, never had the chance to grieve properly. Its been five years since then, and i feel like im not living up to his expectations at all, i miss the sound of his voice but im slowly starting to forget how it sounds like, the way he would say my name and many more. Im going to be a 4th year now this school year, im trying to get by, but the want of him being with me once im done is not possible and i dont know what to feel because of that. i have to thank you and i appreciate you for sharing your story, much love fam! keep your heads up and you're awesome!
