Counter Tip: Keep Moral Up! saying "you're 1 and 9" is the quickest way to lose your already tilted team mate. Its understandably frustrating to be called bad by someone who is doing bad at the moment, but thats the moment you buckle down and help them out! Swing in, push with them, tank some damage! You wont change their mind in the moment, but you're help will slowly bring them out of that tilted mindset. If you still lose, then you can say you did everything you could.

Not a great tip for new players, especially at low elo. There’s almost always SOMETHING you could’ve done better when starting out, especially if you’re ahead. At the end of the day it’s not always your fault, but most people take that as “I’m doing nothing wrong” and that’s hardly ever the case

Another thing for noobs or newer players, don’t play pocket. They have a very small margin of error and can be difficult to pick up until you understand the game more, they are a good skill check character but shouldn’t be your first character :)

ppl saying go help them but fail to realize they've fed the enemy lane so much that a decent lane is still behind. the only way to truly come back from a terrible lane like that is to farm your brains out on neutrals until you hit your power spikes and can actually do shit. while the babies farm you have to babysit the lane to keep them from collapsing the walker, this opens opportunity to solo lane but also share lane souls if they're close by, allowing the babies to double up on farm. in the end tho sometimes it truly is not your fault and you can't save it.

My tip, be friendly and boost player morale to increase chances of teamwork and decrease in chance of ragequitters. Ofc you can have 5 guys on the ight page and one dude who has GC muted doing their own thing getting mad and leaving

I do agree that sometimes it just isn’t your fault but in laning if your team is struggling it’s incredibly valuable to gank if you’re doing good in your lane to prevent that from happening and letting your other lanes snowball the enemy team. Sometimes however you do just get teams that genuinely just throw your whole chance of winning because they refuse to swallow their pride by giving up lane and continue to feed without giving any comms

Go help the lane, swap lane tell them to give up tower and play walker. There is a lot you can do to help come back. Also crack jokes a lot helps get people untitled

yes and no, its not your fault if your lanes do bad but it does fall on you if you’re doing very well to coordinate a good defense to shutdown the enemies bullying your lanes. While I do not know what happened this game, it is especially your job as Silver to help out in other lanes especially (x2) if you have ult up. Silver is one of billy’s counters as you have disarm, resistance, hp% dmg and slowing hex all built into your kit.

I had a player call me trash (mind you it was my third game ever and I've never played a moba before) bur he was 5-19 and I was 1-5 I'm not saying I was better. I wasn't even picking fights. I was cleaning up and taking towers when team fights were happening. we won, btw. because I'm evil, and pick at towers alone

I’d rather give up my guardian than have a 1/9 infernus in lane. Go help him if you’re having a good lane and the rest of the game will go smoother
