I still love Mykonos. When you go there you’re not going for authentic Greece. It’s serves a particular purpose for a particular crowd and that’s OK just like other islands. Serve a different population. When I want Greece and rustic I know where to go. If I want to go relax at a resort and get pampered and not care about Greece, I know where to go. When I want to go to a high end party, I know where to go and that’s Mykonos

Can’t stand Mykonos but references Kefalonia and Zante. Try the smaller Cycladic islands and then comment.

traditional Mykonos is still here, but people prefer to go to Nammos or Principote or fancy places like that. At the same time they ignore local tavernas and business
