I think the problem was how the entire town of Stars Hollow told her constantly how brilliant and amazing she was. She was this huge fish in a tiny pond (a puddle, really) then she made it to the ocean and found out that not everyone will think you're special and didn't just take it hard... it was devastating. Complete and total character assassination and self-identity crisis. I think her spiral was extremely realistic... I was both infuriated with her, but also felt so bad for her and the ways in which she was unprepared for failure. Failures are part of life and I think she assumed she'd never fail so that first failure was catastrophic for her self-worth.

Everyone told her she was perfect, family, friends, etc. And when someone finally told her she wasn’t capable she lose it and gave up. Not like Paris, she lost everything, didn’t went to her desired university but never gave up and later got to Harvard

It was bc her whole life everyone told her how smart she is and that she can do anything, so when someone told her the opposite it broke her

It was not an academic downfall it was a professional downfall. Very different because being successful at one doesn’t guaranties the other

It was just a MOMENT! She went back to college and graduated with her class even though she was weeks (I don't know how long) away! We all have the right to be lost and confused when we experience adult life alone for the first time.

Cuando intentas ser perfecta todo el tiempo y te sobrexiges todo lo que ella lo hacía, solo hace falta una mínima cosa para que estalles. Fue lo más real de la vida.

Nothing to study actually , overachieving is the fastest way to burnout (the moment you tie your worth to achievements, the countdown begins )
