They literally cut out the best parts of the songs. They really should’ve said the songs were shortened because they didn’t fit the vinyl and make it cheaper.

unpopular opinion but maybe artists should turn in a finished album when it’s actually finished and shouldn’t be allowed to tweak things up to a few days before the digital release (so the vinyls were already pressed)

They should have done a 2LP with ABC sides and an etching on side D. Imagine the tree with the heart etched on side D?! It could have been gorgeous and complete

there could've been 2 options 1. The shorter version we got for $30-40 and a disclaimer 2. the fill album on lp, where lp 1 is girl so in love and lp 2 is you seem pretty sad for around $55-60. (also they should release the vinyl version on Spotify)

I did not buy this album on vinyl and thus have no skin in the game, but I’d be pissed. Unless it’s specifically marketed as a shorter or earlier version of the album I feel like I’m not getting y he product I paid for. Is this common thing for vinyls

I was disappointed in a few things: The edited vinyl, the fact my supposedly “static blue vinyl” is almost all white and my picture disc arrived with tears in the plastic. I love the album but overall dissatisfied with the merch

What this has taught me is not to preorder my vinyls anymore. I only do it for artists I really like but I won’t risk it anymore. Theres no draw for me to listen to my vinyl if it’s a worse version of what’s in streaming.

they absolutely could've done a 2 LP, done three sides of music so nothing was cut out and do an etched D side like other artists have done especially when the prices for her vinyls were around the same price of 2LPs

It is disappointing. A record can hold 24-28 mins per side and still have good sound quality however best is to keep it at the 24 or less per side mark for the best sound quality however this can be pushed to 30 mins per side may not be best sound quality when doing this but it has been done and can be done. Not sure why they cut so much as it could have fit or they should have just done 2 LP. They should have said this would be a thing in the description of the vinyl and yes priced them less it is frustrating.

the only album I own that is "different" to its release is 5sos5, they had to reorder it to make sure it fit the whole album, and they have a different version (with a different name) on the digital album. but they advertised it as such
