With my last pregnancy I was 4cm dilated & she asked if I wanted my membranes swept, I said “um does it hurt?” She said “it feels like this” and proceeded to do it 🫠🫠

Hopefully getting mine today 🤞 contractions every 10 minutes for 8 hours on Monday and every 5 minutes for 5 hours on Wednesday, so hopefully this gets things moving!

Got a membrane sweep around 2:30 pm, started regular contractions around 5pm, in hospital by 8. Pushing by midnight and baby was born at 2 am. Now baby girl is 2 1/2 weeks and couldn’t be happier with my first time going through this 🩷 wish I found your page before ! Such good content

I got one done last week at 38+3! It didn’t put me into labor but it’s made my contractions stronger, I’ve had more pelvic pressure, and I’ve been losing my plug! I’m going to ask for another one at my next appointment at 39+5 😬 wish me luck yall

I had a couple, my last one at 40 weeks & 4 days my OB went crazy with it. Went into labor 12 hours later, had baby girl 24 hours from the sweep.

If I’m already 3cm dilated and my water bag is full is there a better chance going into labor after getting a sweep? I’m currently 39wks 2days but I already had my 39 week appointment and declined it. Curious if it would’ve worked.
