When I had my cast we went out to eat for Father’s Day and I needed to elevate it because I could ‘feel’ the blood pooling, so my brother (sitting across me) held up my heel the whole time and eventually just propped it on his leg 😇

I’m locked into this saga and also so impressed by how out and about you’re getting! my mom had a trimalleolar and had a super rough post-op recovery (got a plate and ~8 screws)

I had two ankle surgeries for a really bad sprain that just messed up my ankle, and idk if this has happened to you, (I hope it doesn’t)but my toes in my recovery and hard cast would get so cold I’d have to cut up some old socks and just cover my toes in my cast. Never got a solid answer if it was something concerning but yeah. It also helped me hide my toes, I am pretty insecure about people looking at my toes after surgery because I felt like they looked like Cheetos stained toes lol 😅 I hope your recovery continues to go smoothly 🫶🏻 best of luck
