YaHaKoV Ben YaHWeH :
Yahshua said in Matthew 7:21:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”
He also said in Matthew 12:50:
“For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
The question then is: What is the Father's will?
According to John 6:40:
“And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life.”
Yahshua also said in John 14:15:
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
And 1 John 2:3-4 says:
“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
So, many believers understand the Father's will to include both:
Faith in Yahshua (Jesus) as the Messiah.
Obedience to God's commandments as the fruit of that faith.
This is reflected in Revelation 14:12:
“Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
In this understanding, salvation is not merely saying the right words, but trusting in the Messiah and walking in obedience to the Father's will.
