It’s so annoying cos nowhere’s hiring, and when they are, it’s some job I can’t do, a job I need experience for, or they won’t take me cos I said I was going to uni (despite the fact that I’m gonna be a commuter so I’ll be available on weekends n stuff)

Stop applying online!! I applied to every job supermarkets, cafes, restaurants everywhere out of 300 applications I got 2 trial shifts 1 I said no to as it was awful pay and a toxic environment the other I really wanted but didn’t get unfortunately I was stick of constantly being rejected so I rang every place on my local high street most said they weren’t hiring 1/2 said apply online and 2 said come in today with your cv I did that and got a job no trial shift nothing, I got asked the usual questions of when I can work etc and you just need to be as open as possible

Saw u on my fyp. Just a tip From personal experience do not go through apps like indeed they only really work if u have years of experience. My first job I got through email a local pub and they got back a month later, but with my current job I phoned up as I hated my old job and they offered me a same day interview. Try emailing, calling or even going into places i recommend independent over a big business. Also u don’t need to tell the full truth if your going uni don’t tell them they don’t need to know everything. I wish u luck with job hunting

I’m employed but only on Saturdays which is so annoying because I literally physically can’t pick up more shifts my work only happens on a Saturday and i have an interview for a second job which is also only on Saturday 😭
