She said “ I love you because you’re my mother. I appreciate the wonderful childhood you gave me and all the sacrifices you made to make it possible” but she just doesn’t “like me as a person anymore” (after meeting her boyfriend) and told me to stay out of her life. Out of her life, I am staying. I will not chase her. It won’t do any good. It will just make her run further. So I’ve never reached out to her again. It’s been almost 2 years now. I will always love her and miss her. But I am not chasing her. She set a clear boundary that I refused to cross.

My daughter is doing this right now. Not just to me but our entire family. She doesn’t realize the hurt she’s caused. She doesn’t realize how much she’s loved and missed. I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried my best to reach out, ask to talk, etc.. gets me nowhere. I’m mourning the loss of the relationship we had, in hopes we can reconcile and build a new one.

my son let his wife and our difference of political choices come between us. he doesn't even call me on mother's day he messages me same with my birthday 😒 I call him on his. his wife convinced him I was a bad mom because I was a single mom for most of his younger years. I did everytime for him I worked two jobs so he didn't go without but that doesn't matter because I was single. my heart is broken 💔 and when I die no one is to tell him if he can't be here while I'm alive he doesn't need to come see me when I'm dead. I'm 61 he's 41 I've done nothing wrong to deserve this from him.

I know this all too well... 6 years.. shes the victim... but my other kids and I have an amazing relationship. I respect her choice and I will focus on the ones that want me in their life and love me as their mom.
