Learn Excel until it’s embarrassing how fast you are — you’ll be in spreadsheets constantly. INDEX MATCH, SUMIFS, keyboard over mouse. Speed signals competence before your work even speaks for itself. 3. Write everything down, even the obvious stuff — you’ll be across multiple projects and people at once. Your memory will fail you. Your notes won’t. 4. Ask early, not when you’re already stuck — “can you check I’m heading in the right direction before I go further?” saves hours and shows you’re coachable. Nobody expects you to know everything. 5. The social side is the whole game — the people you impress on internship are the ones who push for your return offer and remember your name for years.
