Not a man, but I disliked Nastenka when I read the book. After finishing I saw the big picture. She thought her fiancé would never come and she would get over this heart break with a man that loves her so much. When she saw her fiancé she understood that no one would make her forget him. But still, using someone would never be something I support

Only part about her that is unlikable is the way she lied to the main character (who i have forgotten the name of) about loving him, seconda before her actual love showed up, her character isnt bad in anyway, she just ended up lying out of sadness and maybe a bit of pity

she’s not bad. she is just a human, just like the main character. both of them were human and their actions, desicions were just what a human being would have done. this story has no right person or wrong.

Can't blame her, she explained to him that she couldn't fall in love with him. And can't blame him either because he was just expressing his emotions to someone who was willing to listen, he only needed someone with whom he could share his feelings and loneliness.
