Brazilian Candy🇧🇷 Recipe below👇🏼 Ingredients: 200g desiccated/shredded coconut 400g condensed milk 60g butter For the sugar coating: 200g sugar 100g water 1tbsp lemon or vinegar (prevents sugar from crystallising) Instructions: 1. Combine condensed milk, desiccated coconut, and butter. 2. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the bottom of the pan (about 10–12 minutes). 3. Transfer to a greased plate and let it cool completely. 4. Roll the coconut mixture into small balls. 5. Pop them in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up. 6. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, water, and lemon juice/vinegar. Boil over medium heat without stirring until it turns a light golden amber color. 7. Carefully dip each coconut ball into the hot caramel to coat it completely. 8. Place them on a greased surface to harden. Important: Let them cool completely before serving.
