Let’s maybe not romanticize this. I get the sentiment. It’s sweet that he’s making time for his significant other despite a busy schedule. But maybe not while he’s actively working and especially not while operating a motorcycle. This isn't relationship goals. It's distracted driving.

kaso safety po ang usapan dapat dyan eh. Yes effort yung ginagawa ni kuya madali naman mag update kht thru chat. Pero ako personally as lady rider, diko iinsist gawin to lalo na't mc driver si kuya. Prio ntin ang safety ng bawat isa. Marami namang way para makapag update sa partner natin pero wag ntin sanayin yung ganito.

hi everyone! i did not really expect this post to blow up since i posted it mindlessly that night. ++ i thought it was cute and funny (in a humorous, sarcastic way. yk, kanang “if he wanted to, he would” kinda thing) although, at first, i was nervous when I saw kuya in a vc with his lover, in my case, they were not really talking much during the ride. and fortunately, we arrived safely din. ++ with that being said, i did not intend to romanticize this or encourage it because it does raise valid safety concerns. i do acknowledge everyone’s points in the comment section, and gets ko talaga, especially those who pointed out that some people do this to stay awake during long rides. kasi, my dad would sometimes ask my mom to talk to him while driving so he wouldn’t fall asleep, or we would switch and i would drive instead. ++ some ppl might say, “if you’re sleepy while driving, edi magpahinga” and i really really do agree. unfortunately, hindi naman po ganon kadali para sa ibang tao. not all people have the privilege to stop and rest whenever they need to because they still have to make a living. however, that does not mean we should compromise the safety and well-being of both workers and passengers. above all, safety should always come first. ++ thank you to everyone who pointed this out. I appreciate the discussion, and i apologize because i really wasn’t thinking too much about it when i made the post 🙂↕️

or be more understanding lalo na if may work yung tao? wag ipilit yung ganto kase hindi maganda na distracted yung rider at dimo alam pwede mangyari sa kalsada..wag din ipilit yung "if he wanted to, he would" kase nilulugar yan..hindi yan para gawin habang may pasahero na pwede maaksidente..

definitely a BIG NO for this, few seconds of distraction can be very very dangerous on the road (there's a study fir this) and that VC is a constant distraction and will not only endanger himself, but also you and other motorist, tapos sa motor pa tlaga ha(twice dangerous and fatal sa four wheels), kaya hindi talaga ako natutuwa sa mga motorist na mag-ce2llphone while driving. SAFETY FIRST, ALWAYS!

I just remember, kuya rider of move it decline all of calls sa iyahang pregnant wife because of he’s still working and kaylangan pako niya e hatud sa balay around sa subangdako nami then sa mandaue tabok pako mo uli. Then I told him to answer the call maybe it’s a emergency then he just said na dili ra daw normal ra daw nas iyahang asawa na mo tawag kay buntis daw then second call ni ana ko tubaga nalang kuya ok ra kasabot ko then he answer the call. Afterwards the wife said na nag bleeding siya. Even tho mahadlok kog kusog na dagan I just told kuya rider na ok ras akoa magpa kusog siya kay his wife needs him. Its an emergency. Then wala nagud ko nagpa hatud sa balay but instead of sa may skina nalang kay mas nag worry kos iyahang asawa. Dili siya connected, but just realize na naa gud uban if they wanted to they would. Naa pud uban na not just because wala nila tubaga on the time na needed sila is wala sila naka notice, its just mahadlok sila na ma report sila or maulaw sila sa passengers nila. Pero kudos to mga move it rider!

Sorry to be a debby-downer, pero hindi lahat ng tao pwede mag phone sa work. Kung yung jowa mo pwede magphone habang nagwowork pero hindi magawang matext ka, then I'm sorry for you. Pero wag mo ilahat. May mga companies na strict sa policies about phones, may mga tao na physical ang trabaho nila na kailangan yung dalawang kamay nila at hindi mahawakan yung phone, may mga tao na hindi pwedeng mag vc sa loob mg work kasi may confidential information na hinahawakan. I'm not trying to be rude, but maybe be more understanding with your significant other.

i also have this perspective that we shouldn't contact our partners while they are on duty. but hear me out, kapitbahay ko nagkaganito kasi moveit driver husband niya, she saw him cheated while on "duty". they broke up,nagask ng chance yung lalaki kasi nga may mga anak sila. for her peace of mind, vc na sila always tsaka naka life360 pa. kaya nga may POV. therefore do not judge a single video without knowing its true content.
