they will sadly take it in the other direction too sometimes. they will bring up black boys in history like Emmett Till and use them as an arguement for why women lying will always be believed and men will always be victimized on a womans word alone... but the people who attacked Emmett Till didn't do it bc a white woman complained. they did it because they were racist and Emmett wasn't white.

No, what you’re saying is much worse than a racism comparison, it’s built on a ludicrous premise. In any given year in the US only about 0.15% of the population is committing violent crime meaning nearly 99.9% of all people are not violent in a given year. I’d say what you’re saying is more akin to how the right wing talks about trans issues even though they make up less than 1% of the population.

The issue of WHY men are generally more violent than women is a significantly different issue than the question of whether it's sexist to literally believe that all men are more violent than all women, or even more violent than the average woman.

This is all fair. However, it is presented in a way that 80-90% of all men are responsible for violent crimes. The part that is left out is that out of that 80-90% roughly 60% of those crimes are committed by repeat offenders which is around 1-2% of the population. Simply put, the majority of violent crimes are men but the majority of men aren’t committing those crimes.

I mean you can call out both but where the story collapses is racial crime rates can be explained sociologically, whereas violence in men is more biological, and a lot of critics of male violence won’t accept this model. The pill to swallow is we’re a violent species, period.
