I came across a video of one of the dead scientists "Amy" before I even knew who she was, and in that video she stated that "We don't understand what plasma actually is, it's alive". It stuck with me because of how sincere she came across. Now after finding out who she was, I'm convinced it's likely at the core of the missing a dead scientists story.
