I started this piece with just a blank canvas and a tray full of tiny, sparkling drills. Every section began as a soft outline, and gradually, bead by bead, the character came to life. I focused on small areas at a time, placing each gem intentionally so the colors blended seamlessly and the details remained crisp. The strawberry hat, the dress, the flowers — each part was built through patience, rhythm, and a whole lot of sparkle. As the background filled in, the pink tones began to glow, and the gems caught the light in the most satisfying way. I paid close attention to keeping the lines clean and the shapes defined, especially around the face and the big strawberry she’s holding. This meant constantly checking the pattern, adjusting angles, and ensuring each drill sat perfectly straight. It’s slow work, but that’s what gives the final piece its shine. The magic happened as the texture built up. Diamond art may look flat at first, but as layers of color stack, the whole picture becomes almost 3D. The strawberries popped, the flowers brightened, and the character’s expression became clearer with every row I finished. By the time I placed the last gem, the artwork looked like it was glowing from within.
