A full month security deposit is actually pretty normal. I’ve always had to pay one month deposit and one month rent to move into an apartment.

Ask them which credit bureau are they using to pull your credit. Trans union, Experian, or Equifax.

what score are you using vantage or fico ? the fico is your true score it's what most companies use and to see fico you have to pay for it they may have a free trial not sure hope this helps

dont give up, please believe, youre at the threshold of your blessings. is there a community legal aide that could advise you? sometimes when I've tried to do all that I could, still to no avail, I only got my breakthrough when I totally surrendered the situation to God. I mean getting ugly snotty flying, totally surrendering to God. it was only then did my breakthrough come, seemly out of nowhere. The lesson for me was, I can't do anything without God, Im totally dependent on him. Give and truly believe, no matter what you see with your eyes that God has you a special place for YOU.

Don’t give up. Even if you pay off a collection it is still considered negative and it doesn’t go away. If you can get a conditional lease, take it.
