I saw your video about the World Cup and I was like hey that looks like Washington lol. I live in Spokane, we moved here about 10 years ago from the midwest but I'm Texan so we always had to worry about grass fires. I never experienced a wild fire until we moved and it was the Okanogan fire that year. And I just don't understand how people can be so careless especially because it has been progressively hotter and drier every single year

I'm terrified for the fourth of July. Our cops here don't put a stop to it or issue tickets when you call it in. Had a neighbor a few years ago setting fireworks off with no clearance, in a crowded neighborhood and they weren't going off straight. Third time I called the cops showed up only bc I told them if the neighbor starts a fire they wouldn't be able to get here quick enough if one of those fireworks hit my house. Please please please don't set fireworks off in residential neighborhoods, go watch one of the fireworks displays in our area.

Born and raised here! Yes, you are correct! Our winters are not what they used to be. However, Avista & Inland power also need to be taking care of the trees next to power lines as well! Also, we are in a Red Flag Warning... So, why are people burning anyways? 🤦🏻♀️

And the fireworks. I hate fireworks. Last year a wildfire in the wenatchee valley was started with fireworks and cost tax payers tens of millions of dollars. The city spent over $150,000 just reseeding the area afterward.
