Baby after crying for 2 minutes: “yay mom came back!” Baby crying after 15 minutes “yay mom came back!” If you’re taking a shower, finish your shower. Letting them cry in a safe place while you finish a personal hygiene task is not going to ruin them.

i do not believe in cry it out. BUT if i’m in the middle of a task im working on letting her fuss for 5-10 minutes. we also have to take care of our selves. if they are in a safe place is it ok for them to cry for a few minutes while you finish ❤️

I completely agree that you can not spoil a baby and "cry it out" isnt healthy for them. However, they will be fine for 5 minutes while you rinse your shampoo out! You have to be taken care of first to be able to properly care for your baby ❤️

For everyone saying “just finish washing your hair, he’s safe” yes she CAN finish, but the stress of hearing your baby cry can be unbearable. The amount of times I’ve gotten out of the shower soaking wet is ridiculous, but it felt more ridiculous to let my baby scream
