I think it has a windscreen leak and the water is sitting under the carpet splashing about! I work at landrover and kinda known issue on these cars! Dm me and I’ll tell u how to check

Seal in boot is probably bust, check where spare tyre is stored .. that’s where the water will be .. this happened to my golf before x
