I also have lipedema and mine looks just like yours, although my doctor told me that running isn't good for it and suggested low-impact exercises or trampoline jumping—where the fascia moves without impact—instead; still, I really enjoy running.

Just started realising this is what I have and have had since I was 13, just thought it was cellulite. Hate wearing shorts and hate swimming because of it, trying to tell myself it doesn’t matter anymore x

I was too embarrassed to go swimming the other day so didn’t go. I’m a size 10-12 but just can’t stand the texture of my skin. You look amazing, think we’re always more crucial of ourselves than others would be x

My body has changed so much from cancer I no longer care about mine…it’s so nice to wear shorts again, what a shame I haven’t more over the years.

The only reason I don’t do is because my thighs rub really bad otherwise I do live in shorts a lot because I don’t really care what people think of me is not my problem

wear compression leggings if u can! we are super prone to varicose veins (i have them and im young) and it's way more likely if you run
