Having no real responsibilities. Working a part time job that all the money was for yours to spend, use for gas money, or save how you wanted. And definitely just driving around with friends blaring music. And seeing your friends ALL the time and not having to make plans months out to see them.

Unfortunately, I dont remember much of my teens and twenties. I was under the horrific grip of alcohol and drug addiction. When my children ask me about those times, I tell them to ask their aunt because I was in a fog. Grateful to be 28 years sober 🙏

I graduated in 1996 and we did that all the time. One of my buddies just brought it up a few weeks ago saying I bet kids do t do this anymore.
