@ilyas.abdulin: My TikTok Account Could Be Banned After I Fact-Checked Someone. One of my best videos, four million views, was removed after I fact-checked a claim using public CDC data. The creator I responded to filed a copyright claim, my video came down, I got a strike, and I was told my account is now at risk. It used about seven seconds of her clip inside a 2 minute 39 second video that was otherwise all my own work, which I believe is fair use. The real question is bigger: can someone erase a fact-check just by filing a claim?
