The mom and aunt should be charged as well . They shouldn’t have put their baby in that situation. Why did it take 2 adults to shop lift diapers . Why did they both go? Wake up people it’s time to take some accountability. ALSOOOO why would they drive away ? Take your ticket …. But once again NO ONE could take responsibility.

Horrible situation.. I will say that first. But- if that child had been properly seated in a car seat, in the back seat of that car, he would still be here on earth. Moving car, 1yr old in the lap of a passenger is CHILD ENDANGERMENT. PERIOD

I'm missing a detail. The baby is one. One year olds by law are supposed to be in a rear facing carseat. The first thing Moms normally do when getting in the car with a baby is strap them in the carseat. She mentioned they were driving off with the baby in her lap? Did he ride in her lap to the store? (not excusing the police but the details are confusing) if anything they should have been concerned about the baby not in the carseat not some diapers.
