Hmmm, my ex from high school/college (since age 17), the only ex I allow to speak to me. We are still in contact a few times a year (platonic). It’s been a little over 30 years. We both married other people went on to have kids with who we married. No beef, I think we’re just oddly bonded. My family has always felt he regrets us growing apart but, we were super young so, it just what happens sometimes. Besides, if he never voiced or voices this, it doesn’t matter. Too much time has passed so, distant friends is how we will stay. There are many people in my family whose exes are on good terms and are allowed to still attend family events. I know it’s rare but, it exists.

: I traveled for him to meet him in another country after 3 days he shifted 😧like you explained. When I got back he tried to detach to say let’s stay friends. I said nothing and left him after 5 days he send me a video message and wishing me a nice weekend (he looked emotional) after another 5 days he said he is coming back to our country to live here out of the sudden while he was building a new life elsewhere. Then hè said he is looking for a place. I said I will ask around but i offered my couch 🫤 he immediately accepted it. I didn’t expect that. Now he booked a ticket and is going to live with me?😅 What does it means from his point? What is the conversation we have to have?
