Once a brother hops on Water 7, he'll experience a heavenly ride until Fishman Island. That's the point where he'll become far too addicted because it's literally peak after peak after peak. I honestly don't know any other show that has several peak arcs following one after another. Usually, every show needs a buildup arc before big events, and so does op later,but before the timeskip, Oda made the first half just one big buildup arc before it all starts going crazy in Water 7 and beyond.

I will say skypeia felt like a drag a little, but it’s important. I enjoyed it, but like a lot of people Water 7 followed by Enies Lobby is where it clicked and became so much more than a show. Let it cook.
