havent considered using it this way but this staff is essential for any Ice themed build especially paired well with the cap that adds chilled for any condition added to add more chilled along with adding it to effects like the mental ring that lowers your Int, Wis and Cha so you lower those and Dex basically nerfing anything. Thats my favorite strategy along with the Legendary Staff to get more chilled damage along with Ice Storn and Cone of Cold every short rest. I need to try this build with a monk build im trying out
