@nirvans_: Two tiny baby bats 🦇🍼 These babies were found and brought to the bat rescue center I work with. Bat baby season started with June, so you’ll likely be seeing more bat pups in my care over the next few weeks. 🫵🏼 One of them is only a few days old and doesn’t even have fur yet. They need a special kitten milk formula every few hours, including during the night. You may notice that I’m handling them without gloves. Normally, bats should never be handled without proper protection. As a vaccinated and trained wildlife rehabilitator, I do this because it allows me to care for these tiny babies more precisely. Please keep your fingers crossed for these little fighters.
