So instead of using $10 billion to pay for medical procedures for their insured, they are using it to pay brokers and denying patient care on a regular basis. I personally am going back to traditional Medicare at the next enrollment.

I work in insurance and agents/brokers are ABSOLUTELY driven to push certain products based on commissions. Healthcare compliance folks should review SEC Regulation Best Interest.

single payer or universal Healthcare would remove any kind of reason to incentive enrollment into specific plans or even eliminate the need for multiple plans altogether. and boom, 10 billion more dollars free to pay Healthcare Workers or fund public hospitals

The problem with advantage plans that once you’re enrolled a couple years you’re potentially locked out of traditional Medicare if you have pre existing conditions. The advantage plans take away those extra benefits and you’re stuck with a crappie plan

So a pharmeceutical rep can't provide physicians with free samples of medications because it can supposedly cause a conflict, but insurance companies can do this...? I'd love to see the metrics they use to evaluate these representative's performance. 🤷🏻♀️

vacation planners state they get commissions for sending people to certain places, social media influencers have to state they are getting paid to promote a product. they are more transparent than the companies that are meant to keep Healthcare "accessible"
