yeah except there is no way you can buy or sell correctly at open because of the volume. The possibility that your simulation is wrong is higher, than that there is actually a winning strategy

depending on how you get the data, the price right at open/close has a weird volume behavior. if you sent a market order right at open and close, not sure you'd get the same price as what you simulated
