Ohh I completely agree with you 100% fromThere are a lot of people who can’t even AFFORD to die. It’s genuinely the saddest thing.. funerals are EXPENSIVE. Headstones are EXPENSIVE. Renting a church is EXPENSIVE. It is one of the harshest realities of death. That’s why I opted out of even having a funeral because I do not want to financially burden ANYONE when I leave this earth..

I was the POA and executrix for both my Dad and stepmom and had to do everything you are doing now and yes, it is shocking how much work it is and the costs involved. You are being extremely considerate and respectful dealing with this now. ♥️

When my mom was cremated, they picked her up and brought her right to the cremation center. We did not have a showing. You can call up a cremation center and start to proceedings. You don’t need to go to a funeral home because they are way too expensive. Sending you prayers and hugs
