it is a beautiful name. it's just racism/bias people who see it as anything else, especially ghetto. A friend of mine is named Sequoia, and the amount of times people called her name ghetto simply because she's Black was insane. But the second she explained that the origin of the name is Native American, all of a sudden it was no longer ghetto. the label has nothing to do with the name itself, and everything to do with bias.
