My hubby is prone to getting seizures after dialysis. His doc has him take an extra dose of Keppra mid treatment bc it gets cleaned out during dialysis. Also if his blood pressure or sugar dips during treatment he can go into a seizure. So he takes a salt pill and eats a small snack right after too. It seems to help. Do u have a rescue med like Nayzilam? It's a rescue nasal spray that someone uses on u of a seizure starts we take it everywhere we go.

I used to be on Lamictal and Keppra and something that they did was had me take 500 Keppra right before treatment and then 500 after treatment that stopped the seizures. Then a night dose of 1,000. Two times a day I took 350 of lamictal but that could not be taken until after dialysis because it’s one of those medication‘s that can be washed out. They need to find a way that you can take them so that they are not completely washing out of you.
