To have your wife love you through this, to forgive you through it, to stay by your side is a true testament to her character, her soul, and the love she has for her husband as a person. “This could have been me” those words changed my perspective. She’s right, those of us that have kids know how quick they are.. and accidents can easily happen to any of us. Instead of saying that could never be me, just focus on making sure that it never is. Judging gets us nowhere.
