@abc7chicago: A car-towing effort went comically wrong in eastern Texas after heavy rain brought major flooding to the area on Monday, June 15. This footage captured by Joey Starr shows the chaotic scene in Marshall, Texas, on Monday. People could be seen wading through waist-deep floodwaters as several vehicles were submerged along Highway 59. A tow-truck driver could be seen breaking the passenger seat window of one submerged vehicle before attaching it to a cable. However, when the driver attempts to tow away the vehicle, it flips over sideways into the floodwater. The National Weather Service said that there was a continued risk for locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding across east Texas into north Louisiana on Wednesday.
