I just don't understand if they DON'T do it, this trilogy would sell the best of any of the older games. The controls are SO easy to pick up for modern players, and the story of her searching for her mother is genuinely well made.

Legend, by far, I grew up with it and whenever I hear the name "Lara Croft", I think of this trilogy, my favorite games of all time. It would be so weird if they didn't remaster them, it would confirm my theory that this trilogy is the forgotten middle sibling that no one cares about, when in reality it's loved by many. They NEED remasters, not just for the updated graphics, but for a lot of bug fixes that would revitalized them.

lowkey i don’t think they need remasters. thats js me tho. i would have said underworld to kinda fix the janky controls but they didn’t do much with AOD remaster so I don’t see a point

Legacy of Atlantis is essentially the first one, and Anniversary. I would think just Legend and Underworld need to be redone.

I’d say it’s more likely they have a remake for legend or underworld in the works since those stories tie in heavily with the first game (which they’re currently remaking) and they would also act as prequels to catalyst since they’re a slightly older version of lara

Yeah, I don’t really understand Crystal Dynamics either. I love the LAU trilogy. Maybe they want to rewrite the series up to Legacy of Atlantis and Catalyst, so that we might even get remakes of Legend and Underworld. I mean, if Catalyst is a continuation of Underworld.

Honestly I don’t get this… the ones that have been remastered have only been bought upto a certain level based on quality … that level still being below the quality of LAU… for them to be remastered would take years… technically anniversary is being remastered. But the other two won’t be, because they still look more advanced than the first 6. Compare the remasters to LAU and they are still below that technical and visual aspect… to ‘remaster’ them would be to reimagine them like they are with Legacy of Atlantis. The remasters was a gift for the OG fans, LAU isn’t 4 pixels, bad graphics and at point unplayable, it was a way to bide time while they figure out what to do next
