bonus points!! mix your face wash with a pinch of baking soda to exfoliate first, follow with your toner, then put on some castor oil, finish with the zinc... great combo

Pharmaceutical scientist here. Zinc oxide itself is great for inflammation, but the VEHICLE matters. 40% diaper creams use ultra-heavy, occlusive bases (like mineral oil, wax, or petrolatum) designed to seal out moisture. On an acne-prone face, or people's skin who are prone to clogged pores, it just traps sebum, sweat, and bacteria, creating a perfect storm for breakouts. Leave the diaper cream for the babies! And no Zinc cream is not a replacement for Retinol/Tretinoin, nor does it even do the same thing.😅🥰

zinc oxide has nothing to do with anti aging 😭 it helps with barrier repair so if you had dehydration wrinkles then ofc this would help

My esthetician wife says it’s just a sunscreen to prevent new wrinkles and it doesn’t help any wrinkles you already have that’s what retinol is for.
