I’d argue that the term gentle parenting has been taken and twisted. Gentle parenting is loving on your kids in the way that they need to keep them safe and keep them learning to be the best people. That’s exactly what you do xx

Children have respect for parents for discipline and boundaries even my son told me who was 15 at the time he respected me for tell him off for not letting him get away with things as he had seen how his friend was disrespectful and they never told his friend off. My son is 27 and the most respectful young gentleman and respectful to me and so proud of what he’s like

You parent exactly the same as i parent and most mums i know also parent the same, i tried to gentle parenting, it does not work for me, i think your a brilliant mum, your house is clean, you can tell your kids are well looked after ❤️

In my opinion gentle parenting just teaches kids that they can get away with it. If your talking to them gently they don’t see what they are doing/ done as bad and they will thi k that it’s acceptable 💁🏼♀️

My only rule for myself is to not to swear round mt child .. doesn’t always work when he gets too much and im overwhelmed… but I’m with u !!!! Mostly my son is well mannered, kind, loving and generous. Like all kids he has his moments and if he is naughty he is being told!
