how do I do the math if my income will be in pensions. I'm 53. Retired military currently collecting a military pension and VA check. I'm in my second career that also offers a pension but I'm having difficulty figuring out when retirement is feasible. No calculator I can find includes pensions.

Tyler, if the S&P returns 9-11% annually, why is $1,000,000 not enough? At a below rate of 8%…you’d have $80,000 plus CPP and OAS of $25,000…. Am i missing something?

What do you mean by "hit that number?" Save that amount annually? Have that amount invested today? Spend less than that amount annually?
