Easy creamy beef lasagna 👩🏻‍🍳🤍Ingredients Meat Sauce: 1 lb ground beef 2 tbsp olive oil 1 red onion, diced 1/2 yellow bell pepper, diced 1/2 red bell pepper, diced 1 medium tomato, diced 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes 1 tbsp Italian seasoning 1/2 tbsp paprika 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder Salt and pepper, to taste 15 oz tomato sauce 1/2 cup water, or 3/4 cup if using regular lasagna sheets  Handful of fresh parsley, chopped Optional: fresh thyme and rosemary White Sauce: 1 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp flour 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tbsp onion powder 1/2 tbsp black pepper Salt, to taste 2 cups milk Additional: Oven-ready lasagna sheets 2 cups cheddar cheese 2 cups mozzarella cheese Instructions: -In a pan over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside. -In the same pan, add the diced onion and garlic. Cook for about 2 minutes, or until fragrant. Add the bell peppers and tomato, then cover and cook for a few minutes until softened. -Add the ground beef back into the pan and mix everything together. Season with the red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, paprika, chicken bouillon powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well, then add the tomato sauce, water, parsley, and optional thyme and rosemary. Cover and let simmer on medium-low heat for about 7 minutes, or until slightly thickened. -Heat another pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil and butter. Once melted, whisk in the flour and continue mixing until it starts to lightly change color. Add the nutmeg, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to taste. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously to keep the sauce smooth. Continue whisking until thickened, then remove from heat. -Preheat the oven to 375°F. In an oven-safe baking dish, spread a layer of white sauce on the bottom. Add a layer of oven-ready lasagna sheets, followed by the meat sauce, more white sauce, and a mixture of cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers until everything is used, finishing with cheese on top. Cover with foil. -Bake for about 40-55 minutes, then remove foil and boil for about two minutes or until golden on top.
