@jadewarshaw: Investing isn’t just for “those” people it’s for you! Once you’re out of debt and have an emergency fund saved it’s time to start building wealth by investing 15% of your GROSS income (the amount before taxes or anything else comes out) into Mutual Funds.  Unlike single stocks (one company) Mutual Funds are a group of lots (think hundreds) of companies. Doing it this way makes the investing ride less volatile and far more predictable over the long haul.  Invest 15 percent into the 4 types of mutual funds I listed: 🎯Growth and Income 🎯Growth 🎯Aggressive growth  🎯International Take the amount you have available to invest and Put 1/4 (25%) of that money into each fund. Set it and forget it. You can do this in your Work 401k. Or if you job doesn’t provide a 401k you can open a Roth IRA and make it happen on your own! Any question?
