It just means what you see at 20 feet others see at 13 feet. So you can see the same thing from further away

guys im gonna explain this for everyone wondering, the first number is always 20, its a control. the second number is a variant. lets say your vision is 20/30, that means what people can read from 30 feet away, you have to be 20 feet away to read it. for 20/13, what people can read from 13 feet away, you can be 20 feet away to read it. basically the lower the second number is, the better your eyesight is. hope this helps!!
