The Schrödingers cat paradox was explained horribly. So for those of you wondering, basically in quantum mechanics, a particle can exist in a superposition, meaning it is in multiple states simultaneously. Whether the cat lives or not depends on the decay of a single radioactive atom inside a sealed box. Because it has not yet been observed, the atom - and therefore the cat - must logically be both decayed and not decayed at the same time.

Every day the schrodingers cat is misunderstood is a sad day, he raised that thought experiment to highlight the absurdity of the Copenhagen interpretation (what actually defines the decayed and not decayed state till observed), point essentially being, it’s absurd to think our observation of what happened to the cat doesn’t define the reality of it

I'm sure your other senses will tell you whether or not the cat is alive. cats make sounds and move. if it's dead it will certainly start to smell eventually.

Observing is fueled by curiosity, curiosity consumes a desire to find out and that by itself changes based on what you think would happen in a sence filing the outcome by your own desire and therefore changing the future. I still can't do it on purpose but I have dreamt of what would happen in short and long term

I heard a good argument for Maxwell's demon.... The demon is sorting the particles based on 1 thing, information.... specifically information about whether the particles are moving fast or slow. They then extrapolated this to argue that energy was at least related and proportional to entropy, and thus the total information of the universe would always increase.
