Everyone is entitled to their personal choice in life, and no one should be forced into marriage if they do not want it. However, having chosen not to marry does not give anyone the right to discourage those who desire marriage.
Marriage remains a noble institution recognized by society and religion. Also, remaining unmarried does not automatically mean one is free from sexual temptations or the risk of engaging in casual relationships to satisfy natural desires. For many people, marriage provides a lawful, responsible, and stable way of fulfilling those needs while building a family and contributing positively to society.
Respecting individual choices should go both ways—those who choose marriage and those who choose not to marry deserve equal respect.
