But last night, the nightmare returned. Dan found Rose in her stall exhibiting those exact same frightening symptoms. We rushed to her side, focused heavily on hydration, and immediately got our vet on the line. After digging into the timeline, we finally uncovered the terrifying common thread: an adverse reaction to Quest gel dewormer. Within just hours of receiving it, her system was overwhelmed by tremors. After administering Banamine and waiting through two agonizing hours of uncertainty, the shaking finally began to subside, and Rose slowly started nibbling on her hay again. While we are moving in the right direction, Rose is far from out of the woods.
