there was no setup for a second movie. they expected it to flop so what they're doing now is making it up as they go. Celine had no real love for Rumi's mother at the end because she fell in love with a demon which went against everything they were taught and knew to be true

Wouldn't Rumi's mother would have take Rumi with her? Why did she leave her with Celine? Also maybe Celine doesn't clean the grave because she feels that Rumi's mother betrayed the Hunters by having a relationship with a demon, therefore Celine doesn't view Rumi's mother worthy of it. 😳

Let's also take note of the apples on the grave. Apples are called 사과 in Korean, sah-gwah phonetically. This is the same at the word 사과 meaning a formal apology, either by sincerity, or formal as in a public/professional way to save face. Celine either deeply regrets her actions (unlikely) or she's trying sell the apology, like how KPop companies will publicly apologize specifically to the public for what they are witnessing as opposed to their artists for the way they're treating them.

what they need to do is create a mini series to give us everyone's background leading up to the movie. and making Celine the final boss would be amazing. I read the creators wanna make the second movie about Mira and Zoey but are afraid Rumi will be put on the back burner and it'd anger the fan base. mini series would help this along.
